A close-up look at some of the details in my wedding.
My wedding highlights! Jason Groupp did such an amazing job. These photos will make me smile for many years to come!
Ron Ben Israel made us a new cake topper after our wedding… There was an accident so we didn’t get to take it home after the wedding. How nice, right? Half now and the other half on our anniversary! It was hard to take off the beautiful flowers to store it in the freezer! At lease I got a couple nice photos of it to look at.
This cake tasted incredible. It is vanilla cake with blackberry cream with praline filling and praline crunch. It was the best wedding cake I’ve ever tasted.
Wedding Photo by Jason Groupp. Jason was right… a teaser just makes me want the rest! ;)
A few pics from my Bora Bora honeymoon! We stayed in an overwater bungalow at the St. Regis in Bora Bora. It was absolutely spectacular and I highly recommend the hotel.
I am missing the food and scenery badly!! :)
A question for my readers….
What was the best signature drink you’ve ever had at a wedding?

I just got back from a 10 day trip to Spain (tanned, happy, and inevitably a couple pounds heavier!), visiting Asturias, Madrid, Seville, and Granada. The trip was great and the food was unique and tasty! I’m trying to get back into my daily routine after a trip full of eating, drinking and siestas! My favorite cities were Madrid and Seville (despite the 100+ degree temperatures in Seville)! It’s such a fantastic experience and such a great culture. The lifestyle is different- people drinking wine for lunch and eating really late (everything shuts down for hours during the day). The bullfighting was interesting as well- I watched it on television, but probably not something I’d want to see in-person due to all the blood (so much!).
I found myself comparing the trip to Argentina, asking myself which country I preferred. Overall, I found the food better in Argentina (I loved all the beef!) but the cities in Spain were nicer. Perhaps part of it is because everything was so cheap in Argentina that we were able to splurge on a really high-end dinner every night. Regardless, the food was amazing (the churros, jamon y queso, and paella were some highlights), and I highly recommend the trip. For this trip, I would suggest doing research in advance (I did mine on chowhound.com), as many of the tourist restaurants were overpriced and not good, and we were able to find some real gems.
Now.. back to seafood and veggies this week to get back in wedding shape!
Helicopter ride over NYC this afternoon. It was a perfect day for it!
Well… at least a few :)
Christmas Eve in Florida!
Dining highlights from Argentina!
Every restaurant we went to was unique in a different way. Some more for their food, and others more for their wine and decor. They were all so different and fantastic!
Argentina Highlights!
My favorite part of the trip was Bariloche! It was simply stunning. BA and Mendoza were both really fun too… and about a quarter to half of the price of NYC. Especially the restaurants and spas! Each night we ate at a high end restaurant (to maximize our trip), and the average bill was under $100 USD, even with a bottle of good quality Argentinian wine! I got 2 massages in Argentina, and the one in BA was around $30 bucks for an hour. It was fantastic!!
